Managing Member Cathy Allen presents live, interactive webinars, teaching everything from the fundamentals of auditor independence to the latest standards and ethical issues facing accounting professionals. Webinars run for 50 – 100minutes and earn participants 1 – 2 credits of continuing professional education (CPE). Our webinars cover the independence rules of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), Government Accountability Office (GAO), and International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA). Unlike other providers, we tailor our webinars to different levels of study—from those who want to understand basic concepts to those who already have intermediate or advanced knowledge of independence rules and principles.

Webinars on auditor independence address the provision of nonattest services to attest clients and other topics of interest like business or employment relationships with attest clients. Learn about new or revised requirements or take a refresher on the fundamentals. Webinars address AICPA, SEC, PCAOB, GAO and international independence rules, regulations and standards.

We offer webinars at all knowledge levels: overview, update, basic, intermediate, and advanced. If you are responsible for independence and/or quality control functions in your firm, you'll appreciate the higher level knowledge offered in some of our webinars.
